Alpacas for sale
All animal sale prices include a "Paca Care Kit", which includes basic alpaca information, full animal husbandry notes, a bag of pre-mixed feed, and one year of animal services, including shearing, toenail trimming and vaccinations. Ongoing after sales support and assistance is provided.

Wethers
Sorry - Jigsaw has been sold. Please see some of our other boys below...Jigsaw is solid medium brown, and has a good dense fleece ( DOB 12/05/2006). Jigsaw will happily take food from your hands, and has a very friendly, inquisitive nature. He is very alert, and has good potential as a herd guard for sheep or goats. Jigsaw is also halter-trained, and has a Chilean background. (Please note: Jigsaw is not registered with AAA.) Price - $330 (incl GST).
Sunnyvale is a solid light fawn boy, ( DOB 25/11/2006) who was the first alpaca born on farm, and as such is the first alpaca to have the Big Sky herd prefix. Sunny is halter-trained, and has a quiet personality. Sunny has been awarded a ribbon at several shows in 2008. His Peruvian lineage includes Windsong Valley Royal Inca and Jolimont Diodoro and Antares. Sunny is priced at $660 (incl GST), or is available for sale with Big Sky Saxon as a package (see below). Big Sky Saxon, light fawn (DOB 31/03/2007)
Sire: Bellawood Hercules (Grandsire: Jolimont Massimo )
Dam: Braecroft Maggie May (Grandsire: Windsong Valley Royal Inca)
Saxon is a gentle natured boy, who is halter trained and has a lovely fine fleece, with lustre and good crimp throughout. He has been shown in the Intermediate Male Light Fawn class in 2008, with a first place at Toowoomba Royal Show, third place at Grafton Show, and was awarded Champion Intermediate Male at Ipswich Show. His dam, Braecroft Maggie May was placed third in the 48 - 60 month huacaya fleece class at the 2007 National Show and Sale. Saxon has potential to grow into a fine stud male.
Saxon is also available for sale with Big Sky Sunnyvale as a package (see above). Package price - $1760 (incl GST) This package is a great opportunity for a breeder who is looking for alpaca with proven show credentials.

Bellawood Hercules, solid light fawn (DOB 21/12/1997).
Sire: Jolimont Massimo
Hercules is an experienced stud male, who is easy to halter and lead, and will work with your female herd in a pen or paddock mating situation. His cria have a dense fleece style with good crimp, and he has a solid build and good conformation.
One of his first Big Sky cria, Big Sky Saxon, has been placed every time he has been shown in 2008, including Intermediate Champion Male at Ipswich Show. Saxon and Big Sky Sidewinder were awarded 1st place in the Sires Progeny Class at Ipswich Show, the judge commenting on the lustre of their fleece, the consistency throughout, and saying "they are peas in a pod".
With his experience and gentle nature, Hercules would be a great option for any breeder who is looking for a reliable male.

Alpaca Fleece for sale
Raw alpaca fleece is available for purchase, in a variety of colours (white, light and dark fawn, brown). The fleece has been skirted, but is otherwise straight from animals via the shears, and is priced for sale by skirted fleece weight. Pricing includes GST, but does not include shipping/delivery cost.
